St. Louis, a river city long known for its place on the Blue Highway that stretches from the Delta all the way to Chicago. A city that is home to Blues patriarchs such as Henry Townsend & Bennie Smith, and a red-hot Blues scene! This years Big Muddy was an artistic success, after all, it does showcase that St. Louis sound!

The Budweiser Big Muddy Blues Festival takes place on historic Laclede's Landing. The music starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday and doesn't stop until 11p.m. Some of the names that you will see and the sound you will hear are from musicians such as Cry of the Mighty Gospel Choir, Alvin Youngblood and Hart's Big Iron, Fontella Bass & The Voices of St. Louis, Alvin Jett & Phat NoiZ Blues Band, Mavis Staples, The Ground Floor Band, Rondo's Blues Deluxe, Keith Doder & Blue City Ban, David Dee & Hot Tracks Band,Tom Hall, Uncle Albert, J.R. Reed Blues Band, Renee Smith & Sole Blue, Willie Johnson Band, Patti & The Hitmen, The Mighty Big Band, Jimminem w/ Marsha Evans and Mojo Syndrome.

As always the event is free, what excuse is there not to come to St. Louis in share in some of the greatest Big Muddy Blues. Hope to see you soon.
