The entire Oktoberfest Family would like to invite you to the 44th Annual Oktoberfest, “Bridging Heritage and Community!” a celebration of history, harvest and diversity.

This year we are adding ”The Brewery Festgrounds” which is located at the City Brewery Hospitality Center between Third and Fourth Streets on the southedge of Historic Downtown La Crosse. These additional grounds gives us the opportunity to present more musical entertainment for your enjoyment. As usual Oktoberfest 2004 includes everything from traditional German music, polkas, classic rock, country and oldies. On Sunday and Monday there is music and entertainment for kids.

The shuttle bus system will include trips to all three “fest grounds” to make it easier for you to enjoy everything about Oktoberfest. We ask that you remember that while beer is a part of Oktoberfest, over consumption is a growing problem for festers of all ages, especially our college-age festers. An important ingredient for a successful Fest is the appropriate and reasonable consumption of alcoholic beverages. We strongly urge everyone to use mature judgment and encourage your friends to do the same. Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. Please take advantage of the Designated Driver Booth, the Shuttle System and the Safe Ride.

Thank you for taking part in all the sights and sounds of Oktoberfest 2004. I sincerely hope you enjoy our nine-day festival…the grandest in the Midwest!!! Ein Prosit!
