Opera star Matt Boehler returns to roots
In the two decades since Matt Boehler '98 graduated from Viterbo University, he has earned accolades around the globe for his booming voice and intense performance style — "bass with an attitude and the goods to back it up" is how The New York Times described him. On Sunday, Nov. 24, the world-class singer and composer returns to the place where he discovered his voice, performing a free concert at Viterbo's Fine Arts Center as part of the Out-of-Our-Minds Chamber Music Series. |
